Jane Kahan Gallery has been an important source of modern master paintings, prints, sculptures, ceramics, and Aubusson tapestries for over forty years. Works from our collection have been exhibited in museums, art fairs and public institutions in New York, Los Angeles, Miami, Washington, D.C., Seattle, London, Moscow, and Dubai, among others. In 2000, the Kunsthaus Museum in Vienna organized an exhibition devoted entirely to Yvette Cauquil-Prince and the gallery's collection of tapestries, entitled "Masters of the 20th Century."
Jane Kahan Gallery was one of the first to deal in Picasso ceramics, and to this day is a leading source for these coveted objects. We are also the premier source in North America for modern master Aubusson tapestries, including those by Picasso, Chagall, Calder, and Leger. The gallery has been privileged to sell some of the rarest tapestries by those artists, including Picasso's "Les Demoiselles d'Avignon" tapestry, from the series famously executed in collaboration between the artist and Nelson Rockefeller.
